Lyftman LR-System lightweight bridge cranes and jib cranes

TAWI manufactures Lyftman work station cranes, single girder gantry cranes in steel and aluminum, twin girder cranes, curves, low built systems and floor mounted constructions. Our jib cranes are manufactured based on the Lyftman concept, reliable and cost effective single piece high strength steel profile LR120/170. Our automatic powder coating line ensures high quality resistance to corrosion and long service life. With four basic track sizes and self-adjusting joint concept an optimized combination is always guaranteed. For ceiling structures with infrequent support points, up to 8 meters between supports is possible.

Lyftman lightweight jib cranes in aluminum up to 275 lbs

Our manually operated jib cranes are available in four basic versions for installation on a wall or column, loads up to 275 lbs.
With a jib arm in aluminum low friction assures smooth operation. Install to a wall or column and use the arm for lightweight load handling. Radius of action ranges from 180-270 degrees and length of arm is available up to 9 ft.

Single Track Monorail

Single track monorail is the economical choice for lifting and moving loads along a fixed line. Monorail serves a working area along a straight line when there is no demand for sideways transportation, with all the advantages of the Lyftman LR-System. The modular design makes it possible to extend to create an x-y system anytime.

Bridge Crane Steel

The most popular type of industrial installation is the bridge crane system. This system covers a rectangular (x-y) working area. A system that must cover more than one working station is equipped with multiple bridges. Such systems are either dimensioned to handle the heaviest weight, or the working areas are separated with buffers. A wide range of suspension solutions are available.

Bridge Crane Aluminum

Boxes of eggs are handled using a VacuMove vacuum lifter in a over head crane system with both girder and aluminum bridge profile. This system is manually operated, meaning that the operator pushes the vacuum lifter by hand in the aluminum profiles over head.This is possible due to the low weight of the system.

Twin Bridge Crane

The triangular construction of our twin bridge crane system is the heavy-duty choice. The twin girders are welded together to stabilize operation when handling loads up to 3300 lbs. The twin bridge crane is normally equipped with motorized trolleys to automate the hoist and bridge traveling motion.

Curved Rail

Combine our 45 degree angular modules with the flexible range of profiles and suspensions. Lyftman curved profiles add flexibility to your overhead system when obstructions in the ceiling structure rules out the use of a x-y system. For example, a ventilation system above the working station can make the installation of a bridge crane in a gantry impossible. Monorail in combination with curves is the solution!

Freestanding Constructions

Floormounted, freestanding cranes are a versatile solution to conventional I-beam cranes. The Lyftman LR-system can be suspended from freestanding constructions, a solution which is flexible and simplfies installation and maintenance work. This is the best solution when the ceiling area does not offer a practical solution to suspend a crane system.

Combined Systems

A combined crane system with steel and aluminum profiles is an optimal system. The steel profiles are best used for fixed installations and the aluminum profiles for operational, moving parts. For extra wide bridge span a triple profile gantry system (three tracks in the gantry instead of two) is possible.

Low Headroom Systems

Lyftman compact solutions for low headroom areas are designed to allow a maximum possible vertical hook stroke.The special construction holds the girder and gantry at the same level, saving valuable space.

Jibs for Lightweight Lifting

By chosing the correct jib crane a minimum of manual force must be used to operate the manual jib. It is important to plan the installation and use of a tool jib carefully, so that the best possible ergonomic movement is achieved, for example by using the outer part of the arm rather than the inner part. The total length of the arm is also important, make sure not to exceed what is needed to cover the working area.

Jib Crane for Sack Lifting

Sacks are often lifted in the food processing industry. Staff often lift and move one sack at a time from pallet to the production line.This is extremely strenuous work in the long run, with potentially harmful turning motions in a small area. TAWI custom makes columns to fit into spaces with low headroom. For loads up to 90 lbs, a lowbuilt jib crane which measures only 12'' in height can fit into even the smallest spaces. A knuckle-jib is an alternative to improve operational space in small areas.
